In 1977, China opened it's doors to the world, inviting business people to meet at the brand-new World Trade Centre in Shanghai. Frustrated with the quality he had found through agents, our founder was one of the first on the ground, meeting like-minded business people from across the world and looking for a way to create cost-effective, high-quality products.
By the 1980s, the Focus office was well-established in Hong Kong, sending employees to source partner factories all over the coast of mainland China.
The 1990s brought a further tightening of quality control to accommodate the influx of new factories as development moved further inland.
In the 2000s, the Focus leadership shifted to the new generation, considering the strategic impact of what we were making and how it delivered against the business objectives of our brands.
The 2010s brought yet another evolution, with a deeper focus on sustainability and innovative packaging. We are now known as FCC.
